We are pleased to announce the successful completion of our Jim Pattison Outpatient Care and Surgery Centre 10th Anniversary Renewal campaign. 2,712 donors from throughout BC came together to help us reach our $4 million public goal. Canadian business icon Mr. Jim Pattison matched this with a gift of $4 million, for a total of $8 million raised.
Donations to this campaign will help purchase and renew important diagnostic equipment at the Centre. Investment in innovative, life-saving equipment not only helps better diagnose and treat patients, but also helps us attract and retain the best medical talent from around the world.
During this campaign, we welcomed many new donors to Surrey Hospitals Foundation, and renewed support from our loyal donors. We heard inspiring stories of exceptional care provided at the Centre’s 56 clinics, where over 3 million people have received care in the past decade.
We thank each and every donor who stepped up to meet the $4 million matching challenge, and Mr. Pattison for his leadership gift. Together, you have made an incredible investment in life-changing health care close to home.
