Alongside our current campaigns, we are proud to support the ongoing needs, big and small, of various departments at our health care facilities.
With the support of our donors, we recently purchased a new baby exam table and wheelchair scale used by the Pediatric Outpatient Dietitian Clinic. The exam table allows our health care staff to weigh babies and measure the length to give more accurate readings. It also has sturdy sides to provide more comfort for the baby as they are being weighed.
The new wheelchair scale provides a more accessible way for children over the age of 2 who are wheelchair-bound to be weighted. It is also used as an alternative weighing method for children who feel uncomfortable using the exam table.
