Krishna Swamy loves Surrey. It was his dream to give back to the community that has been so wonderful to his family, his kids and his grandchildren. Noting the importance of supporting health care for the children in his community, Krishna rallied his extended family and community together to raise funds for the Surrey Hospital Foundation.
Over the past couple of years, through a variety of fundraisers, they raised $25,025.25! These funds will be directed to the Children’s Health Centre campaign, as we work to transform our 17-year-old Children’s Health Centre to accommodate the growing youth population in Surrey and surrounding communities. With donations such as this, we will create a much bigger, child-friendly outpatient area with dedicated day surgery space and easy access to a new outside play area.
