When Cloverdale Paint’s Tim Vogel learned about the pressing need for a child and youth mental health stabilization unit in Surrey, it struck a chord.
The CEO of Surrey’s largest family-run business with a global reach quickly realized that this relatively small unit would have a huge impact on young people in crisis and their families.
Inspired to give, the multi-generational Vogel family got together and decided it was time for an extraordinary contribution to the hospital located in the community where they built their successful paint and coating business.
In 2015, Cloverdale Paint made a $1 million donation to Surrey Hospital & Outpatient Centre Foundation in support of a new Child and Adolescent Psychiatric Stabilization Unit (CAPSU) at Surrey Memorial Hospital.
