Surrey Hospitals Foundation is excited to welcome Maria Faccio to our team as our new Chief Development Officer.
Maria comes to us with over two decades of senior leadership experience, encompassing people management and strategic fundraising campaigns. Over her career, she has built strong relationships with provincial and national corporations, diverse community groups, and established leaders and philanthropists throughout our province.
During her more than 25 years at BC Children’s Hospital Foundation, her work touched all areas of the organization as she directly managed multi-year and annual budgeting processes as well as business and strategic planning. She provided strategic direction for many large-scale galas, signature events, and multi-million-dollar campaigns, and boosted fundraising revenues to record-breaking achievements.
“I am thrilled to take on the new role of Chief Development Officer for Surrey Hospitals Foundation and drive the Foundation’s vision to be the transformative and unstoppable force of health care for Surrey and all residents south of the Fraser river,” says Maria. “I look forward to working with the Surrey Hospitals Foundation team, the Board of Directors, our hospital colleagues, and our generous community of supporters to provide excellence in hospital care for the region.”
Over her prolific career, Maria has been a key player in shaping the philanthropic landscape in British Columbia, and we are honoured to have her join our team.
