Research
Innovation in research and education continues to be a high priority for us. We are proud to have funded Fraser Health’s first Clinical Research Institute, as well as the Critical Care Tower at Surrey Memorial Hospital, which expanded the capacity for medical students and residents. Being one of the Clinical Academic Campuses of the UBC Faculty of Medicine, SMH also has a 125-seat lecture theatre and Fraser Health’s first Regional Simulation Centre.
